I have no idea how Frozen Hot Dogs are relevant to finding an approximation of the value of Pi, but who cares. You get to throw hot dogs across the room. Claiming it for mathematics is just to get out of trouble for me.

I’ve been informed that some users would prefer a more defined “Story Notes” space on my eFiction skins. This is quite simple to accomplish.

The html for the story notes is
div class=’noteinfo’
so all we need to do is make a css class called noteinfo.

Open up the style.css in your skin folder and start your class by writing
.noteinfo
{
border: 1px solid black;
}

This will give you a black border around your story notes. Of course, you can change that css to anything you want.

I started another pet project. Yes, another.

It is the Fanfiction Directory http://www.fanfiction-directory.com and it is exactly what the name implies. I’m hoping to provide people with a way to find fandom specific archives, rather than letting them wade hip-deep into the shit on fanfiction.net.

Maura talked me into going on a scavenger hunt that her job was running in the National Mall this morning.

The Smithsonian Metro station is in a weird spot from where we live here at Pentagon City. Even though the Smithsonian is on the Blue Line like Pentagon City, the Blue Line does a ridiculous loop before it gets there. It’s much easier to hop on the Yellow Line heading for Chinatown and then switch to the Blue Line going back towards Pentagon City. Unfortunately the switch at L’Enfant has… unique signs, and I ended up accidentally exiting the station trying to find my way out.
