Congratulations Wikipedia - You successfully manage to prevent reliable information from an authority on the subject from being published on Fred Saberhagen for several hours - (source) - based on an obviously useless model of verifying facts for biographical pages.
This is why I have yet to try to fill out the Cynthia Defelice page despite the fact she is, in fact, my aunt.

Wikipedia has a very bad attitude towards their users. Sure there’s vandalism, but hey, we’re not always the enemy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to find a page, only to find it was deleted because it wasn’t notable enough. Like I really want a bunch of editors at Wikipedia to arbitrarily decide what’s notable or not. Notability should be decided by popular opinion. Isn’t that where notability comes from?
