F-Zero X Profile
Some men are good. Some men are evil. Captain Falcon qualifies as a little bit of both. No one is sure why he is called “Captain” although it is rumored that he was once an officer in the Internova Police Force. There is no evidence to back up this story and Captain Falcon is a private man who will disclose nothing about his past. He is almost as elusive as his present day life, as he is a fierce bounty hunter who must protect himself from his dangerous enemies at all times. Captain Falcon makes his home on a string of islands off Port Town. Guarded by high security, each island has a practice racecourse for his F-Zero machine, the Blue Falcon. There are only 2 things that will lure Captain Falcon away from his archipelago fortress: the lure of high bounty, or the chance to compete in the F-Zero GP.
F-Zero GX Profile
Captain Falcon was the winner of the previous F-ZERO Grand Prix, an achievement that boosted his already-high popularity even higher. Beyond racing, he is quite well-known as an extremely capable bounty hunter. Just how many criminals he's brought in is unknown, but the number is said to be astronomic. Aside from the fact that he hails from Port Town, his past is a complete mystery. His mind and body are honed from the many battles he has survived, and there is no challenge he can't overcome.
Notes
- There are two Captain Falcons. The games on the Game Boy Advance are based on the GP Legend anime which features Bart Lemming as Captain Falcon.
- Falcon also owns the Falcon Flyer, which is used to transport the Blue Falcon and to travel for his bounty hunting. It is featured in the 'Big Blue' stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee and in the Subspace Emissary in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- Falcon has a connection with pilot Jody Summers. In F-Zero GX story mode, he rescues her from a burning reactor in Chapter Five. In John Tanaka's ending, Falcon is seen walking arm in arm with her (much to John's annoyance.)
- Although Falcon carries a side-arm, he has never used it in a game (not even in Super Smash Bros.)
- When Falcon was injured in the crash prior to F-Zero X, his DNA was stole while he was in the hospital and his clone, Blood Falcon, was created by Black Shadow.
