I only accept PayPal for payment.
I charge by the hour for my time. $10 per hour, rounded up to the nearest half hour.
Exceptions –
Modifying one of my pre-made eFiction skins (new header image, bg, color change, etc) – Flat fee – $20
Modifying one of my pre-made eFiction skins (recolor, header modification only) – Flat fee – $10
I will give you an estimated cost when you give me the specifics of what you would like. I expect half of this amount upfront before I will begin work on your project.
When the project is completed, I will send you screencaptures. If you accept this layout, I will expect the rest of the payment before I will send out the files.
If I am significantly under the estimated hours required, I will reassess my fee before requesting the final payment.

First, let me say you do wonderful work. You are one of the best eFiction skinners around. That said, I would like an eFiction 3 skin.
My site is for the USA show Psych. I’d like a skin that is clean looking, with mostly thin 1pt borders where they are needed. I like skins that are also ’soft’ looking. By that, I mean they are very pleasing to the eye and don’t stress the eyes with thick hard edges and bold colors. To give you more of a sense of what I’m talking about, I have a Mac computer. The styling of that OS compared to Windows is the ’soft’ appearance I am looking for.
Psych is a show about solving crime mysteries, but it is also a very comedy driven show. It is like Monk, but funnier in my opinion.
So, I’d like a skin that has a bit of a ‘Private Investigator’ or ‘Mystery’ feel to its layout. For instance, I love your Murder skin. It is the current Default skin of the site. I’m also a big fan of your Edgey skin, which is very similar to the Murder skin.
The main thing I’m looking for with this skin is that it is unique to my site in its design and layout. I am a professional graphic designer, so I can handle customizing the skin to my taste easily, so whatever graphics and such that you use to make the skin will not effect my decision of whether I like it or not. I will be mainly looking at the layout. I would make my own skin, but I lack the scripting knowledge.
I’d like the layout to be compatible with 800×600 resolution and for it to be easy to navigate. On the index page, I like it when the larger section is for the welcome message and the News section. The Categories and Recently Added blocks are of high priority to me, so I like them to be seen on the page when it is first opened, not located at the bottom like I’ve seen some skins have them. Preferably, I’d like it if the skin only had one style.css to edit. And I’d like the skin to have a place for a decent sized banner image, like your Murder and Edgey skins, but perhaps not as ‘boxy’ as those skins in the layout.
I hope you get the concept I am looking for. Your price quote may or may not be in my budget, but I thought I’d give this a try and see if I can afford it.

Yay I found you!!
Let me first say that I have been looking for a way to contact you since the first of the year. Odd enough, never understood the commission part, but nevermind all that let’s get to my request.
I’ve only had efiction since 12/24/2006 so everything is new for me. Being a webmistress novice designer has been painful but I’m learning. I’m a big fan of your safari skin. It was easy for me to learn and customize. If you go to my site you will see I have taken safari and created at least 10 different skins. But they are all just the same skin with different colors. Which is why I contacted you.
My site is fanfiction for a soap couple. The readers are romance and erotica story readers, centered around three ladies. The skin I’m requesting can have images of all three provided but I guess I’m looking for something soft and romantic that stands out amongst the others. I was on another Efiction site and it had the look and feel of your safari site with the fact that it had borders but their was a main image to the left that extended the side of the page of a character in a pose. Very different. I’d like something like that.
The current version I have is 3.2 but I may have a request of development of the page that list the characters. How I can put their images and a synopsis of who they are on it. That part may be confusing, but just keep that in mind. I can give you more details if you want.
The colors:
Well Currently my readers love the black background and white font. But again this one is for a different romantic feel so I would go with soft shades of green and pink or blues. Look at my site, let me know if we can work together. I’ll wait on your estimate and Thanks in advance!
